Build Resilience in School-Aged Youth Training
Children and teens are dealing with more stress than ever before, and research continues to show the significant impact that stress has on their emotional wellness. Kids of all ages need our help learning how to cope with their emotions. Strong4Life recognizes that educators and school staff play a crucial role in supporting the emotional wellness of students. The Strong4Life Resilience Training is designed to support educators and school staff in promoting emotional wellness and fostering resilience in all students, so that they can learn to better handle life’s ups and downs.
The purpose of the Strong4Life Resilience Training
The Strong4Life Resilience Training aims to:
- Normalize conversations about feelings.
- Provide education about supporting emotional wellness and building resilience.
- Teach skills to help children identify, express, and manage feelings.
Why participate in the Resilience Training?
In addition to learning strategies to promote emotional wellness and build resilience in all students in our 1-hour training, participating educators and school staff will also receive:
- 1 feelings poster
- 1 coping skills poster
- Education about Strong4Life web content that can be shared with families and other school staff
Who should take the Resilience Training?
Georgia educators and school staff are invited to take the training.
