Ana is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in the Skill Acquisition department. She received her Bachelor’s degree in General Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico. In addition, she obtained her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Georgia and completed all of her fieldwork training at the Marcus Autism Center. Ana has worked in the Skill Acquisition department for over 5 years and has focused on early-learner population with severe delays in language and communication. Ana has worked heavily on assessment and designing individualized interventions. Ana focuses on creating individualized plans according to assessment results as well as caregiver goals. She has also collaborated with other providers, such as BCBA’s specializing in behavior reduction, speech language pathologists, audiologists, and vision specialists, to deliver a complete and multi-disciplinary approach to each of the clients she works with. Additionally, Ana has worked directly with children and teenagers with complex behavior support needs, such as aggressions, property destruction, etc. During her free time, Ana enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her dogs.
