Board Certified Behavior Analyst Team Lead
Alyssa Rouse, MS, BCBA, earned her master's degree in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Purdue University Global. Alyssa is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a solid educational background, having previously obtained a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Public Health from Spelman College.
Since 2011, Alyssa has dedicated herself to the ABA field, working in various capacities such as Behavior Technician/Specialist, Inclusion Specialist, and BCBA. Her work primarily involves children aged 2 to 17 with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and developmental disabilities. She has provided her expertise in diverse settings, including schools, daycares, homes, communities, and clinical environments.
Currently, Alyssa holds the role of Team Lead BCBA Trainer within the Language and Learning Program at Marcus Autism Center. In this capacity, she oversees in-person training for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and BCBAs. Furthermore, she serves as a BCBA/Case Manager for the Intensive Outpatient Program, where she plays a crucial role in the development and management of cases involving minimally verbal clients. Alyssa is passionate about teaching her clients functional communication to increase independence and help reduce undesirable behaviors, implementing naturalistic teaching strategies, and providing effective training to caregivers and staff.
