Mikinzie Versteeg

Lead 2’s Teacher

Mikinzie Versteeg is the lead teacher in the 2's classroom. Mikinzie completed her undergraduate degree as well as graduate degree at the University of Alabama. She has an Undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Special Education as well as a Graduate's degree in Autism. While completing her graduate's degree, Mikinzie worked in Early Intervention where she would coach parents and other caregivers on different naturalistic strategies to help with their child's development.

Through her time completing her degrees as well as working in early intervention, she has had a lot of experience working with children of all ages. Mikinzie especially loves collaborating with caregivers to ensure a unified approach to all children's development. She loves working with children and emphasizes a naturalistic approach to teaching to ensure a fun and meaningful environment in her classroom.
