With over 20 years of experience dedicated to improving educational outcomes, Jennifer Cardenas is a seasoned leader in the field of student support and educator development. As the Manager of the School Consultation Program, Jennifer develops and oversees the implementation of initiatives aimed at enhancing the educational experience for all learners by equipping administrators and teachers with sustainable strategies and meaningful educational practices. Her holistic approach towards training and consultation integrates multi-disciplinary and evidence-based practices fostering inclusive classrooms that promote equitable access, social-emotional growth, positive mental health, and academic achievement for all learners.

Jennifer brings a diverse educational and professional background to this role, including a Master of Science in Conflict Management, which enables her to address complex challenges, build collaborative relationships, and implement solutions that enhance the educational experience for students, educators, parents, and communities alike. Jennifer’s leadership is rooted in her commitment to fostering collaboration and bridging gaps to create meaningful, sustainable support in educational communities.

Jennifer has successfully developed programs and supported implementation in both urban and rural districts. Her innovative approach to student engagement and behavior support has resulted in improved inclusion efforts, reduced discipline referrals, increased teacher efficacy, and decreased educator burnout. Built on a foundation of positive relationships and sustainable practice, Jennifer actively seeks to understand the communities served by School Consultation and identifies opportunities to integrate meaningful interventions into existing systems.
