About Our Telemedicine Program

The Telemedicine Program at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta allows our pediatric specialists to remotely provide care to your patients through the use of technology when it is clinically safe and appropriate to do so.

Telemedicine, also referred to as telehealth or virtual visits, uses a two-way interactive video over a secure, HIPAA-compliant network. Children's telemedicine visits can take place in the comfort of a patient's home or another private location.

Pediatric specialties

Telemedicine is available for ambulatory practices within Children's Physician Group.

MYchart

At Children’s, a MYchart account is needed for a patient to establish a video connection with one of our providers. MYchart is a secure, online tool designed to help patient families streamline their child’s healthcare. Patient families can sign up for a MYchart account online.

Telemedicine Appointments and Referrals

Refer your patient for an in-person visit with a Children’s pediatric specialist. Our team will determine whether a telemedicine visit is appropriate. Patient families may also call their Children's Physician Group provider to discuss if a telemedicine appointment is appropriate for their next visit.
