Jessica Reilly, MD, Medical Director of the Strong4Life Clinic and Bariatric Program

Jessica Reilly is a board-certified pediatrician who serves as the Medical Director of the Strong4Life Clinic and Bariatric Program. Dr. Reilly joined Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in 2023 after completing a fellowship in pediatric obesity medicine at the University of Minnesota. Prior to her fellowship training, she worked in a general pediatrics practice in St. Petersburg, FL.

Dr. Reilly cares for children and adolescents affected by obesity using evidence-based medicine. She has a particular focus on children with weight-related comorbidities, including pre-diabetes, dyslipidemia, hypertension, obstructive sleep apnea and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

Dr. Reilly prides herself in marrying evidenced-based interdisciplinary treatments with a culturally competent, compassionate clinical approach. She is passionate about childhood obesity medicine because it is disproportionately vulnerable to stigma and bias. To combat the false notion that being prone to weight-related comorbidities is a child's or family's fault, Dr. Reilly educates patients and families on the complex interplay of genetics, biology and environment, resulting in a person’s tendency to carry extra weight.
